Chris Youlten was appointed Managing Director Etihad Airport Services (EAS) in January 2017.
He is responsible for the development and successful operations of four Etihad Aviation Group companies: EAS-Ground, EAS-Catering, EAS-Cargo and EAS Flight College.
He joined Etihad Airways in September 2008 as Head of Operations Planning before becoming Vice President Network Operations. Between 2014 and 2017 he served as Senior Vice President Airport and Network Operations, overseeing an extended portfolio which included the Midfield Terminal Project and EAS-Ground.
Chris has more than 30 years’ aviation experience gained in the Far East, the UK and the USA, as well as in his native Australia. Prior to Etihad Airways, he was Director Ground Operations at Oasis Hong Kong Airlines from 2006 to 2008. Between 1997 and 2006 Chris held a number of positions in the Australian aviation industry at companies, including Ansett Australia, Air New Zealand Group, and Freedom Air International.
